Cathie Urquhart Murals - About the Artist

     Cathie is celebrating her 18th year of decorative painting in El Dorado County, CA. She started her mural and stenciling business in 1991 and has painted many private residences and businesses in Placerville, Cameron Park, El Dorado Hills and surrounding areas.

     Using a combination of "free-hand" painting, projection art and designer stencils, Cathie can create whimsical murals for children's rooms or elegant marble pillars for your entryway, and she enjoys "fooling the eye" with her Trompe L'Oeil style of painting.

     Cathie has taught "The Art of Stenciling" classes for Placerville Parks & Recreation Department, Pine Tree Fabrics, Michaels Craft Store, Carolou's Crafts and many schools in the area. Private Party Classes are available upon request.
     Cathie is married with two sons and lives in Placerville. She is a charter member and Treasurer of River City Stencilers and also a member of the International Decorative Artisans League, Inc.
